Programs: 1. ADDRESSING INFECTIOUS DISEASES THROUGH SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT : The high quality of medical care we enjoy today is built upon years of effort by physicians, physician-scientists, Environmental and Climate Change Scientists, and other medical professionals investigating the causes of and potential treatments for diseases. The tireless effort of these professionals has made many once life-threatening diseases and conditions just a memory. However, there is still much work to be done. Revelations provided by environmental and climate change together with medical research today, promise to lessen the impact of our greatest health problems, including infectious, environmental, allergy diseases. diabetes, cancer, and heart diseases. As science continues to unravel the molecular workings that underpin disease, we will see profound changes in the approach to treatments and tackling of environmental and climate change challenges.
2. ADDRESSING RESPIRATORY AND FOOD ALLERGIES ( A LESSON LEARNED): Recent data estimate that between 1.1 and 10.8% of the global population has a food allergy, and the rates of food allergies appear to be increasing. In America alone, about 32 million people have food allergies. This increase pauses threats to quality of life. Therefore, one of our major goals is to work rapidly in the development of breakthrough discoveries in finding solutions to Respiratory and Food Allergies that will transform the lives of people living with food and respiratory allergies through transformative research, education, and advocacy. Currently: There is no cure for food allergy. The only way right now is that, food allergies are being managed by avoiding the problematic food(s) and learning to recognize and treat reactions symptoms. As new studies show, the food allergy therapies are under study in clinical trials.
3. APPLYING BIOCHEMISTRY POWER AND SOLUTIONS TO COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE CHALLEGES: Due to climate change challenges that bring up severe temperatures, industrial combustion by-products, heat and weather extremes, the organization is endeavoring to apply Biochemistry solutions to combat the climate change and diseases.
4. ADDRESSING ENVIRONMENTAL DISEASES: At Lily Flower of the Valley Corporation, we wanted to rethink about the future of our environment and tackle health challenges as well as environmental degradation with ambition and urgency it deserves through scientific research and development. Only then can we protect the health, livelihoods, food security and nutrition of all people, and ensure that our health is protected and improved. Health diseases brought by pesticides, built environment, synthetic materials, weather extremes, E- waste, polluted water combustion by-products, and nutrition must be investigated to find solutions through a Scientific Research and reduce prevalent of non-communicable diseases caused by environmental factors.
5. LILY FLOWER OF THE VALLEY FOOD PHARMACY AND WATER DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM : Proper nutrition and hydration are a critical part of health and development for both children and adults. Hence, a healthy and variety of food supply is an ESSENTIAL PART OF THE HEALTH AND NUTRITION RESPONSE TO HEALTH PROBLEMS TO MAINTAIN GOOD HEALTH AND PREVENT MALNUTRITION IN ALL ITS FORMS. At Lily Flower of the Valley Corporation, our goal has always been to recognize the barriers that our under-served communities face to access healthy food. We recognize these barriers by providing fresh locally grown produce and dry goods that we receive from local farmers in manageable diverse quantities to maintain our communities' health and productivity. Due to high scorching temperatures brought by climate change, Lily Flower of the Valley provides and distributes drinking water to our local under-served communities to help the communities remain hydrated. Most healthy people can stay well hydrated by drinking water and other fluids whenever they feel thirsty. While plain water is best for staying hydrated, other drinks and foods can help, too. Lily Flower of the Valley opens a small stand food bank and water distribution in Alameda City on second Saturday and last Saturday of the month from 11AM to 3PM at 529 Buena Vista Avenue, outside the gate of Summer House Apartments, Alameda California 94501. 6. PROVIDING REFERRALS PROGRAM: As an organization that is also involved in "Outreach, Educational and Advocacy Field Work Program, we provide referrals of population who need health care in the under-served communities to partners for the services such as: (1) Mental health Services, (2) HIV/AIDS Care Services, (3) Medical care Services, (4) Food Services, (5) Dental Care Services, (6) Pharmacy Care Services.
